Free music sharing comes to a stop as Japanases ISP take stern action.
Tokyo, Japan – For those who use internet programs for sharing free music and movie files, in Japan, starting from next month, this easy and free way to share these files will be made illegal, and internet users will be indeed monitored.
While in the U.S only a few Internet Service Providers (ISP) monitor illegal file sharing, Japan has made it clear that all activity will be clearly monitored.
If someone is caught in this act, at first they will be given a warning and if caught again they will temporarily lose their internet services. If they continue after several offenses they will permanently lose their internet access.
