Carrollton, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) — Duplium, a Dallas-based technology company specializing in DVD/CD replication, printing, packaging kitting, and fulfillment services, announced the launch of their new “Green Initiative” on Thursday.

Duplium has been an environmentally friendly company from their inception, being recognized by both the cities in which they are based in Dallas, Texas and Thornhill, Ontario. Duplium recently received a Certificate of Recognition by the City of Carrollton for the company’s consistent compliance with the industrial pretreatment regulations.

Duplium is providing their customers with a new line of products that contain a higher percentage of post-consumer waste and the products meet or exceed the standards set out by the Green Seal Organization, and well as the Ego Logo organizations of North America. Duplium will be adding these products in the coming weeks to their website at http://www.duplium.com.

The company’s CEO, Bernie Anderson, says that he is proud to be a part of a movement that he thinks “we all wished we started a little earlier.” He believes Duplium clients will like the fact that they now have environmentally friendly options for their packaging.

Duplium is also working within their building to become more energy efficient. Anderson also mentioned his two largest clients have joined Duplium in their initiative and have vowed to move their product packaging over to recycled product.

Duplium appreciates the fact that their clients are willing to move in this direction since, contrary to popular belief, it’s not cheaper to produce on recycled paper; it is actually more expensive.
