Los Angeles, California (WiredPRNews.com) — There has been a new entry in the fashion world in the form of a new face for the ‘Wonderbra’.
It all started out as a casual competition to find a new model for the ‘Wonderbra’ for which the company advertised on websites and in newspapers calling ladies who have the right look.
The call for auditions were held by way of the company’s billboard campaigns. The advertisement received an extraordinary response and over 1,000 girls came for the auditions, all of whom wanted to replace the previous ‘Wonderbra’ models, Sophie Anderton, Eva Herzigova and the most recent bombshell, Dita von Teese.
The lucky girl selected was 20-year old Katie Green, a 5′ 9″ tall daughter of a shop assistant and grave-digger. Green, who never imagined how fame tasted, will now be appearing on millions of posters all around Great Britain. She said that she always wanted to join the police force and she had been thinking about filling out an application to join the Hampshire police this week. But now, as she has been selected for the prime model spot with ‘Wonderbra’, she will have to hold on to her ambitions. She says that she is a size 12 and curvy and was shocked when she was selected as she expected the company might choose a thinner girl.
Green is an attractive blonde and has been described as “exotic, erotic and little psychotic.” When she heard the news that she was selected, Green said she felt totally ‘bowled over’. She could not believe the good luck because she has been a very normal and simple girl. She hails from Chichester and will soon be appearing on numerous posters, ads and billboards all over the U.K.
