Britney Spears gives Federline sole custody
Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) — Britney Spears is ready to take up her role as mother once again after the epic meltdown which took place this past Januar that ultimately led to the court taking away her children. The reclaim has been filed to a point where Britney could spend half of the time with her boys.
Lawyers appointed by the singer and her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, agreed to request the pop singer be allowed to have more visitation with her children three times a week. The agreement also includes two overnights with the kids. If the situation will go well, Spears could spend 40% of the time with the 2-year old Sean Preston and 1-year old Jayden James. This news was reported by Britney’s attorney Laura Wasser.
This agreement has not only increased the time with her children, it has also promised to remove the need for trail that was scheduled to take place next month so that the financial issues and lingering visitations could be resolved.
Britney’s positive shifts on the home front have come while the singer’s career seems to be recovering. The singer is spending her summer by working on a new album. Britney’s involvement with her children was unimaginable in January when the she was taken away from her kids by and was shifted to a psychiatric ward. At this time, Federline was given complete custody of their children and Spears was not allowed to meet her sons for about two months.
Wasser also reported that Britney has been motivated by her children and also by her reestablishing career. A court hearing has been scheduled for July 31 to determine whether her father, James Spears will be allowed to continue her financial as well as personal control.
