Dallas, Texas (WiredPRNews.com) — Palin or Biden: Who Had Who at Hello? –As Speculation Ensues About Who Came Out on Top After the Vice Presidential Debate, Many Wonder Who’s Accusations Will Hold True
October 2, 2008- With a current economic crisis on the hands of the public, more people have been stated to be interested in this election than others in past decades. Many people fear for their future as gas prices, home foreclosures, and the cost of living remain high. Some have stated that the decision for who will be the next President of the United States may be one of the most critical decisions made in history. After the airing of the widely anticipated Vice Presidential (VP) debate, some still feel that many questions remain unanswered. However, as Election Day looms, people are taking the information provided today to determine what effect this debate will have on the outcome of the election.
Immediate reports and commentary pertaining to the debate between VP candidates Sarah Palin and Joe Biden presented mixed views on who had the best delivery. Many questions of commentators centered on who had style, and whose presentation had substance. Both raised accusations of the other, or their running mates, supporting legislation that contributed to major issues concerning things such as the environment, tax increases, and troop funding. Palin was described by some as bypassing certain questions by heavily concentrating on energy issues, Iraq, and the “Maverick McCain.” However, the Republican nominee is also described by some as having a delivery style which proves she can hold her own against her fierce male counterparts. Democratic VP candidate Biden is noted for heavily criticizing the Republican Party for policies that could potentially reinforce the current Administration’s tactics that many have blamed for the current state of the economy and foreign relations.
Although highly anticipated, the debate is described as having been relatively mild, in terms of having the potential to spark heavy controversy. While fact checkers determine whose claims will hold true, many are left to look forward to next week’s second Presidential debate, and get more answers for what team will be better for the country in the end.
