Medical malpractice breaking news in Tennessee
Strong medical malpractice attorneys in Tennessee are scrambling to assist clients injured by doctors and hospitals.
Several new Tennessee laws, aimed at decreasing frivolous malpractice claims, are causing a rush on the court houses throughout the state. Lawyers are running to file claims in an effort to protect victims rights to obtain compensation.
60 day grace period required. New Tennessee law requires attorneys give doctors and hospitals 60 day notice before filing the lawsuit. Enacted October 1, 2008, this new law is causing serious concern amongst medical malpractice lawyers in Tennessee and nationwide. The continued hurdles enacted by state legislature as “new laws to protect against frivolous medical malpractice claims” may discount many patients with legitimate injuries who deserve compensation.
