Dallas, Texas – (WiredPRNews.com ) — A $100,000 reward has been offered for the safe return of the nephew of famed singer and actress Jennifer Hudson, as reported by the Associated Press. Hudson’s mother and brother were found fatally shot in the family home on Friday. Their deaths have been ruled homicides, however, no one has yet been charged for the killings. Hudson’s nephew, Julian King has reportedly been missing since the day of the tragic events, with a suspect for his disappearance and the murders being William Balfour, the ex-husband of King’s mother.
An Amber alert was issued for Julian King and Chicago police have expanded their search for the seven year-old to include the entire city. Mourners of the victims have left teddy bears and other items around the Hudson property. Fliers with the missing child’s picture and description have been placed in businesses throughout the area.
Jennifer Hudson, who reportedly identified the bodies of her late family members, issued a statement through her MySpace blog, thanking the community for their support, and asked to be kept in their prayers for the safe return of her nephew.
