Obama Calls This Election “A Defining Moment”: Google CEO, Eric Schmidt commented “this is the right plan for America.”

Wired PR News.com — Senator Barack Obama aired a 30 minute program special on Wednesday night that highlighted the Democratic presidential nominee’s plan for helping America rebound from the current economic crisis. The democratic senator presented the points of view of American citizens across the country who have been affected by the lack of affordable health care, inadequate education, lowered pensions, and other issues that contribute to their continued financial instability. Obama stated “We’ve been talking about the same problems for decades, and nothing’s been done about it. We have to stop talking and finally do something.”

Julianna Sanchez, a widow and mother of two children, discussed the issues she faces in working two jobs to balance a mortgage and supporting her family. Sanchez remarked “most of us that are educators, we all have second jobs… financially the pressure is just to keep your head above water, so you don’t feel like you’re drowning all of the time.”

Obama detailed components of his plan that would be beneficial for individuals like Sanchez that would “grow the economy, and keep people on the job.”

Other senators, and company executives provided their support for the candidate and his focus on helping families and small businesses improve their financial stability. In regards to Obama’s economic plan, Google CEO, Eric Schmidt commented “this is the right plan for America.”
