The controversial republican candidate Sarah Palin Considers a 2012 Presidential Run

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin suggested in a recent ABC interview that she may consider a 2012 run for president. The controversial republican candidate stated that her place in politics would be permanent regardless of the outcome of the upcoming election. As reported by AFP, Palin told ABC News, “I’m not doing this for naught.” The interview comes after allegations that she’s increased self-promotions against the advice of campaign managers. Palin also expressed views that hers would prove to be a winning ticket on Tuesday. In defense of questioning Senator Barack Obama’s patriotism, Palin stated “(I’m) not calling him un-American.” However, she insisted that her actions in commenting on the purported relationship between the democratic presidential nominee and activist Bill Ayers were a necessary measure. The ABC interview is set to air on Thursday. Undecided voters now only have a few days remaining to decide on a presidential pick. Both parties are making last minute efforts to reach voters.Photo credit: Roger H. GounÂ
