Michael Jackson in Wiredprnews
Wired PR News.com – Michael Jackson has stated that he would not be a part of an upcoming Jackson 5 reunion, as previously announced by his older brother Jermaine Jackson.
According to a Reuters report, the elder Jackson told an Australian audience, one day prior, that the whole family was working on music for an upcoming tour. Michael refuted the statements on Thursday by saying “My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we’ve certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them.”
The Jackson 5 became widely popular with hits like “I’ll Be There” in the 1970s. The group consisted of Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Randy, and Michael Jackson, who later became a worldwide icon for his music, as well as a highly controversial figure in the media. Their last tour together was in 1984.
Michael was not with his brothers in September when they collected a Lifetime Achievement Award in Los Angeles.
