Wired PR News.com — With the final outcome for the election only days away, many are asking what will be next for the candidate who doesn’t win? Both individuals could possibly decide to return to the Senate, however, GOP representatives insist that Republican candidate John McCain intends to win the election, despite his stance in the polls.
As reported by POLITICO, the McCain camp has stated “He [McCain] plans on winning the election because he’s absolutely qualified to be president of the United States.” Other sources have commented that McCain would not likely return to the Senate even if he does not win the election. Democratic candidate Barack Obama has expressed the opposite, citing that he’d return to his duties in the anticipated majority Democratic Senate in the event of an Election Day upset.
Senator Obama has been leading in national polls despite a heap of controversy recently instigated by unfounded allegations of being a socialist, terrorist, and threat to the American public. Obama’s recent 30-minute program, which aired on major networks Wednesday, helped reinforce to many his dedication and connection to the American people.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th.
