A new ad created by the campaign of Republican presidential candidate, John McCain, depicts Obama supporter, Senator Hilary Clinton downgrading the experience of Democratic candidate Barack Obama. Many have called into question whether the latest measure would have any significant impact on the views of voters.
Wired PR News.com – As reported by POLITICO, the latest ploy utilized by Republican campaign affiliates is a robocall message depicting the voice of former Obama rival Hilary Clinton alleging that the Democratic candidate has insufficient experience to hold the office of president. Included in the message are comments by Clinton expressed before Obama beat her in the democratic primary. One statement depicted is the Clinton quote “In the White House, there is no time for speeches and on-the-job training. Sen. McCain will bring a lifetime of experience to the campaign, and Sen. Obama will bring a speech he gave in 2002. I think that is a significant difference.”
Many have suggested that the robocall will be ineffective for swaying voters. Senator Clinton along with her husband, President Bill Clinton, have both publicly endorsed Senator Obama for the current race.
