Wired PR News.com – A woman was struck by a stray bullet on Sunday while at the Texas Motor Speedway, as reported by the Dallas Morning News. Jill King Moss was injured after a bullet hit her RV, and then her arm. News reports state that bullet had come from a long range distance, however investigators have yet to determine who fired the shot, or pinpoint exactly where it came from.
Moss is reportedly being treated at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital. Her Husband, Melvin Moss stated on Monday that she was doing well, but would require significant time to fully recover from the occurrence. The couple had traveled to the speedway from their home in Arlington to spend the weekend at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Dickies 500.
Mr. Moss was quoted by the Dallas Morning News as stating “Whoever fired this has activated me for life…I’m a Second Amendment guy, but there is a limit.”
