Wired PR News.com – Actress Linday Lohan, who has for months been in a rumored relationship with Samantha Ronson, a well-known DJ, has now opened up about her personal life to popular magazine Harper’s Bazaar. As reported by Access Hollywood, Lohan was quoted as stating of girlfriend Ronson in the magazine’s December issue “I think it’s no shock to anyone that it’s been going on for quite some time… She’s a wonderful person and I love her very much.”
The report comes on the heels of major protests around the state of California in opposition to the passing of Proposition 8, legislation that bans gay marriage in the state. California had beforehand made it legal for gay couples to marry, which facilitated the marriage of thousands of couples who had been waiting for that chance. The legislation will possibly make these marriages invalid.
Lohan, famous for popular films like Mean Girls and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen is set to star in the upcoming comedy “Labor Pains.” In regards to her family’s acceptance of her relationship, the actress tells the magazine “We’re close; we’ve been through a lot. They’re supportive of me whether I’m with a guy or a girl. They’re just supportive of me as a person.”
The issue of Harper’s Bazaar will hit newsstands November 18.
