Wired PR News.com – After a grueling match for the Democratic primary ticket win, President Elect Barack Obama is reportedly considering his former female political adversary for a top position in his administration. As reported by the Associated Press, Senator Hilary Clinton is now a potential choice for Secretary of State.
The Friday announcement came after Obama met with Clinton in Chicago. Although he has yet to make a final decision, many have speculated that the senator is a top contender for the cabinet seat, which will put her in position as the country’s number one diplomat.
John McCain is also speculated to be a potential choice in Obama’s cabinet. President Elect Obama will meet with McCain on Monday; however, advisors for both men insinuate that it will be unlikely that McCain will be given an administrative position.
Much attention has been given to Obama’s choices for positions in his administration, mostly due to the trying economic circumstances that call for serious policy changes.
