Wired PR News.com – New York based restaurant, Southern Hospitality, owned by popular singer, Justin Timberlake is being sued over a wage dispute. As reported by Reuters, the restaurant has allegedly failed to pay all of the wages owed to some employees, which serves as the basis for a lawsuit filed on Friday.
Timberlake along with business partners and restaurant management has been accused of withholding tips and paying less than the required minimum wage to a busboy, named in the suit, and 50 of his co-workers, as stated in the report. The total amount of damages sought by the plaintiffs has not been specified.
Justin Timberlake now falls in line with other celebrities with lawsuits filed against them for their businesses, including actor Robert De Niro and rap star Jay-Z.
Timberlake rose to fame with boy band, N-Sync, and later earned popularity as a solo artist. His restaurant has been a successful enterprise for the singer.
