Dr Pepper Makes Good on Word to Give America Free Drinks
Dr Pepper will begin delivering on their promise to provide free sodas to the people of America in conjunction with the release of the new Guns N’ Roses album. Wired PR News.com As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the company made the promise in March that if the group released “Chinese Democracy” this year, then they would give everyone in the country a free Dr Pepper. The Guns N’ Roses album had been continuously delayed since the group began working on it in1994.
As quoted of Vice President of Marketing for Dr Pepper, Tony Jacobs, in the AP report “We never thought this day would come…But now that it’s here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper’s on us.”
Individuals can receive their free Dr Pepper by visiting the company’s website and obtaining a coupon. Coupons are redeemable for 24 hours starting at 12:01 Sunday, and will be usable until February 28, 2009.
