George Lopez, Jackie Chan and Billy Ray Cyrus - Will be seen in New Mexico
An unlikely team of stars have signed on to act in the anticipated comedy “The Spy Next Door.” As reported by Reuters, the new comedy will be filmed in New Mexico and star George Lopez, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Jackie Chan.
Lopez and Cyrus will play CIA agents in the movie directed by Brian Levant, and Chan’s character will be that of a babysitter who has to protect the kids he’s sitting for from the agents when one of them downloads a secret code.
George Lopez is best known for his roles in his self-titled prime time comedy show, and his stand up comedy performances. He recently lent his voice to the hit blockbuster movie, “Beverly Hills Chihuahua.” Billy Ray Cyrus is a country singer and the father of teen superstar Miley Cyrus. Jackie Chan became widely popular as a martial artist and comedic actor after the 1998 blockbuster hit Rush Hour and subsequent Rush Hour movies.
“The Spy Next Door” is expected to be released in 2010.
