Popular Fox News Duo Parting Ways After 12 Years
Wired PR News.com – The popular Fox News commentating force behind, “Hannity & Colmes” will soon part ways as announced by the news station. Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes hosted the highly rated television program together for twelve years. As reported by POLITICO, Colmes was quoted as stating in regards his decision to leave the show, “I approached Bill Shine (FNC’s Senior Vice President of Programming) earlier this year about wanting to move on after 12 years to develop new and challenging ways to contribute to the growth of the network.” Hannity remarked that Colmes was “a remarkable co-host” as well as “a great friend which is rare in this industry.” He further stated, “I’ll genuinely miss sparring with such a skillful debate partner.”
Colmes will reportedly stay on with Fox News as a commentator and continue hosting his self-titled radio show for the network. There has yet to be confirmation as to whether Hannity will continue to host the show solo, or find a replacement for his more liberal minded co-host.
