Heidi and Spencer Have Marriage Ceremony, But Wait to Make it Legal

Wired PR News.com – The love to hate couple of top ranked MTV reality show “The Hills” were featured on Wednesday’s cover of Us Weekly Magazine and stated to have eloped. However, as reported by the Associated Press, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt claim that their grand ceremony near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico was symbolic and they were not yet legally married.

The couple provided the popular entertainment magazine with pictures and details of their wedding having been quoted in the AP report as stating “We had a beautiful ceremony here … officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer. We’ve never been happier.”

Montag’s family is said to be less thrilled about the event, with her sister stating to MTV, “Everybody’s pretty upset.”

Heidi and Spencer became two of the most recognized stars of “The Hills” after their highly publicized feud with fellow ‘Hills’ star Lauren Conrad. The couple’s wedding ceremony as well as their honeymoon is expected to be aired on the program in an upcoming episode.
