Is Caroline Kennedy Taking Over Hilary’s Seat in Congress?

Caroline Kennedy reportedly has her eyes on the soon to be available Senate seat currently filled by the newly chosen Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton.
Wired PR News.com –As reported by the Associated Press (AP), sources say the sister of the late John F. Kennedy Jr. has expressed interest in becoming the Senator for New York when the slot becomes open in January. As quoted of Robert F. Kennedy in the AP report, “She spent a lot of her life balancing public service with obligations to her family. Now her children are grown, and she is ready to move onto a bigger stage.”
The decision for who will fill Clinton’s seat will be made by New York Governor David Paterson. Many speculate as to whether the Kennedy’s influence will impact the governor’s decision. Caroline Kennedy’s father was President John F. Kennedy who was assassinated in Dallas in 1963.
Hilary Clinton has vowed to retain her position until her confirmation into President Elect Barack Obama’s cabinet in January.
