Adam Walsh Murderer Finally Determined

The murder case of the six year-old victim has finally been closed after more than two decades.
Wired PR News.com – The murder case of six year-old Adam Walsh has been closed as announced on Tuesday. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), serial killer, Ottis Toole has been identified as the person who killed and decapitated the young victim in 1981. Adam Walsh is the child of “America’s Most Wanted” host John Walsh, who launched the television program after the death of his son. The show has since assisted with the capture of numerous criminals and helped identify the whereabouts of several missing children.
John Walsh was quoted by the AP as stating in a news conference “Who could take a 6-year-old and murder and decapitate him? Who?… We needed to know. We needed to know. And today we know. The not knowing has been a torture, but that journey’s over.”
Toole had long been a suspect in the case, and admitted his guilt to authorities but later recanted. He died in prison in 1996 after being convicted of unrelated murder charges.
The Adam Walsh Child Protection Safety Act was made law in 2006, which applied stricter rules to sex offender registration.
