Caroline Kennedy Visits Harlem Accompanied by Al Sharpton
Caroline Kennedy pays a visit to Harlem in what some view as an effective political move.
Wired PR News.com – Caroline Kennedy, escorted by the Reverend Al Sharpton, paid a visit to Harlem, New York to have lunch at a landmark eatery. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Kennedy spoke to reporters and onlookers in a news conference about why she was interested in trading in her private lifestyle to pursue a seat in the Senate, which would put her more in the public eye.
Kennedy has professed to be an advocate of education and law reform, and has written books on constitutional law. As quoted of Kennedy in the AP report, “These are issues that I care so much about, and I understand that, really, I have been trying to work on them as a private citizen… But really, to solve our problems, I think government is the place where people need to come together.”
