New Mother Has Teary Eyed Reunion with Hospital Staff Who Saved Her
A North Texas mother celebrates with the medical staff that saved her from a life threatening heart condition.
Wired PR News.com – A 26 year-old mother in North Texas recently reunited with the hospital staff that saved her life shortly after she gave birth. As reported by the Star-Telegram, Amanda Jackson returned to the North Richland Hills hospital that saved her after she developed pregnancy-induced cardiomyopathy, which most patients are stated to not survive, to a celebration complete with balloons, presents, and cake.
Jackson’s heart reportedly stopped hours after her baby was delivered, but the medical staff at the hospital revived her, and helped her get back on her feet with several days of intense treatments. Jackson is now stated to be recovering well from the multiple cardiac arrests that occurred throughout the course of events, and has been dubbed a miracle patient by staff.
As quoted in the report of cardiologist Balaji Veerappan, who treated Jackson, “This is a success more than anyone could ever imagine.”
