A man was recently charged with the attempted murder of a nurse found locked in the trunk of an automobile.
Wired PR News.com – Attempted murder victim Magdeline Makola was recently found alive in the trunk of her car, where authorities say she may have been locked up for as many as ten days. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Police in Scotland charged 35 year-old Justice Ngema on Monday for attempted murder of the nurse, who had reportedly been missing since December 15.
As noted in the AP report, Makola was found after officers heard cries coming from her vehicle while patrolling the area of its location in the town of Airdrie. She was officially reported missing after it was discovered that she did not show up to work on December 18.
Police have yet to say whether the suspect was a prior acquaintance of the victim. Ngema is currently in custody and has a court date scheduled for January 6.
