Golden Globes Promised to Bring Pizzazz
Sunday’s Golden Globes are promised to be full of glitz and glamor.
Wired PR News.com – This year’s Golden Globes are anticipated to be full of glamour and excitement, making a comeback from the poor ratings of last year’s telecast. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), producers of this year’s awards show are gearing up to make it as extravagant as possible, full of star power and pizzazz.
Last year’s ceremony was canceled due to a writer’s strike, and in its place was a no frills program of which Golden Globe winners were simply announced. Barry Adelman, a producer of the award show is quoted in the AP report as stating, “Last year was not a happy time to go through…But we’re putting that behind us.” The executive producer is further quoted as commenting, “We’re making this year bigger and better than ever.” Nominees for this year’s awards include Meryl Streep, Tina Fey, and Kate Winslet.
The Golden Globes are slated to air on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. EST.
