“The Ghost Whisperer” star gets restraining order against 62 year-old stalker.
Wired PR News.com – Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has gotten a protective order against an obsessed fan. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the former “Party of Five” star was granted a legal restraining order on Monday by a judge in Burbank, California against 62 year-old David Nolte. Hewitt requested that the length of the order of protection be for three years, and is noted to have stated in her petition that the man had recently moved from Colorado to Los Angeles to be near her.
Nolte is also said to have reportedly sent Hewitt several letters containing descriptions of his fantasies about the actress, as well as showed up at her mother’s home last month, as noted in the AP report.
Hewitt has appeared in several films and television programs, and is currently the star of the hit CBS drama, “The Ghost Whisperer.”
