Unique restaurant lets customers pay what they want for health conscious dining.
WiredPRNews.com – The recession has forced many businesses to reach into their bag of tricks to find ways to stay afloat, however one unique restaurant has taken things to unimaginable heights. As reported by NYDailyNews.com, the Queens based Tierra Sana restaurant will provide health conscious meals on a “pay what you want” basis in an effort to show diners that healthy eating does not have to come at a hefty price.
As noted in the report, Tierra Sana’s “Pay What You Want” special will run every Tuesday beginning February 3, next week. Restaurant owner Vic Fiallo is quoted by the NYDailyNews as stating, “Health food doesn’t have to be expensive or tasteless.” Fiallo is said to be confident that patrons will pay around the list price for items despite the option to pay lower amounts, due to the food’s excellent quality.
The restaurant features an array of items on the menu including vegetarian and vegan choices. More information about Tierra Sana, which is Spanish for “healthy earth,” can be found at http://www.tierrasana.com.
