A local news station helps support out of work individuals in North Texas by profiling their stories.

WiredPRNews.com – A Dallas news station has gone the extra mile in helping to support members of the local community in finding employment, during these recession filled times. CBS 11 News has included a weekly feature into their news reporting that profiles the stories and resumes of North Texans who may be looking for work.

This week’s profile includes the story of army veteran, Owen Bickford, who worked in the field of architecture for 18 years before being laid off last year. Bickford is quoted as stating in the CBS 11 report, “My experience is pretty deep… If you’re going to get it right the first time, the best thing is having someone who knows what they’re doing.” Bickford is further quoted as remarking, “I can get pulled down by the job market and the economy, but… my faith keeps me excited about things about the future.”
