22 Dogs Taken From Car
Numerous dogs were removed from a car after being found with a woman.
Wired PR News.com – The SPCA removed 22 small dogs from a car after receiving a call about the animals from an area neighbor. As reported by CBS 11 News, the dogs were found in a car parked on a dirt road with a woman who is said to have dementia and purportedly had been evicted from her home.
Alyson Robinson, a neighbor of the woman, is quoted as stating of the situation, “I guess she stayed warm with all the dogs because you could see her snuggled up in the morning with the dogs laying on top of her… it was a sad, sad situation.”
The dogs are now in the care of the SPCA in McKinney. The woman is also in the care of adult protective services. A hearing is set for Monday, February 16, regarding custody of the animals.
