Renowned interior designer Carleton Varney shares inspiring thoughts at a Pioneer Linens hosted West Palm Beach Book Signing and Tea.
WiredPRNews.com – West Palm Beach luxury home décor retailer, Pioneer Linens, recently hosted a successful book signing and tea for renowned interior designer Carleton Varney. As reported by Palm Beach Daily News, the event garnered much attention and support for Varney’s latest book, Houses in My Heart, which he professes is a look into his journey towards becoming one of the nation’s strong forces in the industry of interior design.
As quoted in the report of Varney who’s worked with all kinds of people including the late actress Joan Crawford, “When a space is done up without a reflection of the person who resides there, it becomes soulless… To make a house pretty or interesting, it has to have soul. It’s not just ‘things’ that produce soul.”
Over the course of his career, Varney, who has also written a Palm Beach Daily News decorating column for over three decades, has amassed many fans inspired by his vision. Stephen Mooney of Richard Plummer Design is quoted as commenting of Varney, “I’ve wanted to meet him for a long time… He’s definitely an inspiration, and quite a character.
