Microsoft has announced a new website to help individuals with job training.
WiredPRNews – Microsoft has announced the launch of a new website that will assist with job training. As reported by Reuters, the site Elevate America has been created to provide users with access to helpful resources for developing necessary skills to obtain jobs.
The website http://www.microsoft.com/ElevateAmerica may be of some assistance to those seeking to hone their Internet and computer application skills, with programs that teach things such as resume creation as well others that cater to more advanced needs.
Over three million jobs have been lost as a result of the recession. Pamela Passman of Microsoft Global Corporate Affairs is quoted as stating of the company’s support “We are also providing a full range of work force development resources for state and local governments so they can offer specialized training for their workers.”
