West Palm Beach, FL (WiredPRNews.com)–The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) www.CPSC.gov alerted a nationwide voluntary recall, on Tuesday, for 213,000 Evenflo Activity Centers. The kids activity centers were manufactured by Evenflo based in Miamisburg, Ohio. The company decided to recall the childrens product after 11 reports of injuries resulted from dislodged end caps on the Activity Center.
Evenflo, a childrens consumer product maker, received a report form a family in Canada claiming their child suffered a broken collar bone in Canada from a dislodged end cap. The remaining injuries reported were minor involving bumps and bruises. Evenflo ExerSaucer Triple Fun stationary activity center, manufactured between October 2006 and December 2008, with the model number 6231711 is the recalled item. This product involves converting the stage 3 position into an activity table.
The product was sold in juvenile product retail centers and mass merchandise stores nationwide, for about $120 including Toys ‘R Us and Burlington Baby Depot.
