Jaime and Britney Spears sought to extend retraining order on former attorney, boyfriend, and manager in court hearing.

Wired PR News.com — A court hearing was held Monday in Los Angeles to decide whether or not to extend a temporary restraining order against the former boyfriend of Britney Spears, Adnan Ghalib, attorney John Eardley, and Sam Lutfi. Acting as her conservator due to her prior mental state, Spears’ father Jamie Spears testified that the three took advantage of his daughter, reportedly stating that when his daughter was friends with Lutfi and Ghalib, she didn’t eat or sleep, and her mental state landed her in the gossip magazines.

Jamie Spears is quoted as remarking in court, “Lufti is a predator. He is very dangerous to my daughter. He causes disbelief in her mind. He is very controlling. We asked him to go away and he did. Now he is back.” Although the temporary order had expired, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb ordered it to remain in place at least until Wednesday when the hearings will reconvene.

Sam Lufti filed a lawsuit against Britney earlier this month, in which he claims he is owed unpaid management fees, and against her father and mother for defamation. Lufti claims he has never threatened Britney. Jamie Spears is also quoted as stating that without Lufti and Ghalib in her life, Britney is physically in great condition, mentally stable, going to her meetings, taking care of her children and doing what she’s supposed to do.
