Dallas Wal-Mart Kidnapping or Hoax?
Police are questioning whether what appeared to be a kidnapping was really a prank.
Wired PR News.com – Dallas police are questioning whether what surveillance video shows to be a kidnapping was really a prank. As reported by CBS 11 News, video of two individuals jumping out of a van, and grabbing a third person at a Wal-Mart located on Dallas North Tollway has been released by authorities who are currently investigating whether an actual crime took place.
In the video a pair of teenagers are seen walking in and out of the Wal-Mart more than once. A van subsequently pulls up and passengers jump out to grab one of them before pulling off. The other teen reportedly left the area afterward. Wal-Mart security was then alerted by other witnesses and police were called.
As noted in the CBS 11 report, authorities in Plano have said they had not received any missing child reports, and are urging anyone with information related to the incident to call 972-941-2148.
