Dallas News Story - Man Tries to Steal Baby

A man in Garland tries to snatch a baby from his mother’s arms.
Wired PR News – A man in Garland attempted to take a 15 month old child out of his mother’s arms on Tuesday. As reported by the Dallas Morning News, the unidentified suspect entered the home of 27 year-old Carmen Rodriguez Tuesday afternoon, and attempted to wrestle her son Alex out of her arms. The man subsequently ran out of the home after giving up, reportedly leaving the child with visible scratches on his face and back. Alex was treated at the scene of the incident.
The man was described as African American and said to be between 5’10 and 6’0 tall. He was also said to have shoulder length dreadlocks and a beard. As noted in the Dallas Morning News report, anyone with information pertaining to the attempted kidnapping has been asked to call Garland Crime Stoppers at 972-272-8477.
