Stocks End on Another High Note

Stocks continued to climb on Wednesday after Tuesday’s big advance.
Wired PR News – Wall Street ended the day on another high note Wednesday, as Tuesday’s gains became a two-day event. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), although point increases were relatively modest, the Dow Jones industrial average ended with gains for the second day in a row.
Despite the increases, many analysts warn that the trouble for the markets is not over and investors might require more impressive news to retain their confidence in buying. Doug Roberts with ChannelCapitalResearch.com is quoted in the report as remarking of the situation, “People are looking past the sizzle and saying ‘where’s the steak.”
Roman Dubczak with CIBC World Markets is further quoted as stating, “many, many days of positive tone and the market interpreting data and news as more positive than negative” would be required for sustainable progress.
