A Colbert Space Station Room?

The funny man is petitioning NASA to get his name added to a new space station room.
Wired PR News – Stephen Colbert is moving on to new endeavors after failing to prove victorious in his mock presidential campaign. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the comedian is now enticing fans to submit his name in an open online vote for the naming of a new NASA space station room.
As noted by the AP, so far, the funnyman’s name is leading in the ranks against those such as Serenity, garnering 115,000 of the votes by 451,000 people as of the middle of Tuesday. The room is currently referred to as Node 3, and will reportedly be delivered to NASA by the year’s end. It is expected to feature a machine for turning the urine of astronauts into drinking water.
William Gerstenmaier, a NASA official who heads space station operations, made an appearance on “The Colbert Report” on Tuesday.
