A Dallas police officer who would not allow an NFL player to enter a hospital to see his dying mother in law gives an interview.Wired PR News – A Dallas police officer currently under investigation for delaying NFL player Ryan Moats and his wife as they attempted to enter a hospital to visit a dying relative, recently cited his actions as improper. As reported by CBS 11 News, Robert Powell spoke with regret concerning his actions during the March 18 traffic stop in an excusive interview with the news medium.Powell is quoted in the CBS 11 report as stating, “I made a mistake that night… I used poor judgment… I hope anybody watching this - officer or not - can see my mistake and know that this is not the way to handle this kind of situation.”Powell is currently on administrative leave as an investigation into the matter persists.
