The President Arrives in London
Obama and the First Lady embark on a trip to Europe on Tuesday.Wired PR News – President Barack Obama made his arrival in London on Tuesday beginning his European trip during which he will meet with world leaders. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the trip is Obama’s first one to Europe since beginning his presidential term.Included on the President’s agenda is the G20 Summit, which is a meeting of world powers to discuss solutions for dealing with the global financial crisis. Obama is also set to meet with leaders of India, South Korea, China, and other nations while on the first leg of his European trip.As noted by the AP, other events scheduled for the president during the course of his trip include attending a NATO summit, attending international summits pertaining to pressing matters such as terrorism in Afghanistan, and other foreign affairs.Photo Credit: Luke Vargas
