Blogs at Odds Over Twitter Information

Two blogs are reportedly at odds over differing information about the sale of Twitter to Google.
Wired PR News - Press Release Service – Two blogs who reported conflicting information about the website Twitter, are sparing with words. As reported by Reuters, the technology news sites are clashing over information pertaining to the sale of Twitter to Google.
As noted in the report, TechCrunch manager Michael Arrington reported Thursday that Google had plans to purchase the Internet sensation, as well as create a real-time search engine with the company. Subsequently Boomtown blogger Kara Swisher reported that the information was not accurate, and is quoted as writing on her blog, “In fact, Twitter and Google have simply been engaged in ’some product-related discussions,’ according to one source.”
Neither sources information has reportedly been confirmed or denied by Google or Twitter. As further noted by Reuters, Twitter, although widely growing in popularity has yet to turn a profit, but many are speculating that it might be bought out by a major entity.
