Dallas News - Woman Shot at on North Texas Road
A woman was nearly hit by a bullet while driving on a North Texas road.
Wired PR News – A North Texas driver was nearly hit by a bullet in what was deemed an instance of road rage. As reported by NBC DFW News, Debra Mortenson was shot at by another driver while on her way to a doctor’s appointment Thursday. The angry driver was reportedly in an older model, dark blue sedan.
Mortenson is quoted in the NBC report as stating of the incident, “You just start realizing your mortality, and I just couldn’t believe someone would do something like this… I keep thinking, ‘Oh, if my head were a few inches further or back, you know, the consequences could be quite different.”
Mortenson was not seriously injured physically in the incident. Police are reportedly intending on charging the shooter with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon if they are found.
