Michael Jackson Gets Sued by Former Publicist
The entertainer’s former publicist has filed a lawsuit alleging he failed to pay for her services.
Wired PR News – A former publicist of Michael Jackson filed a lawsuit against the entertainer alleging he failed to pay her service fees. As reported by Reuters, Raymone Bain, who worked as Jackson’s publicist while he was on trial for child sex abuse in 2005 and was also later appointed manager for his business company, is suing the pop star for $44 million.
Bain reportedly filed a lawsuit against Jackson Wednesday for alleged breach of contract. Bain is quoted by Reuters as stating of the matter, “Unfortunately, Mr. Jackson has elected not to honor the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolve this matter. I am sincerely disappointed in Mr. Jackson’s failure to honor his obligations.” Bain is also noted to state that her decision to sue the star was made “with deep regret.”
