Wired PR News – Joan Rivers is the latest winner of the reality show “Celebrity Apprentice.” As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the comedian was hired by Donald Trump in Sunday’s finale, beating rival Annie Duke.
Rivers is quoted by the AP as stating to Duke during the finale’s heated boardroom meeting, “You are a two-faced person… You have said I’m a cancer. You said you hoped I would die. You never said it to my face. Duke is quoted as snapping back, “For six boardrooms… I sat here and acted professional.”
As noted in the report, Rivers snared the winning position by her fundraiser gala planning. Her prize is $250,000 provided to her favorite charity, God’s Love We Deliver.
The show, which aired on NBC Sunday, ran for three hours.
