Minnesota Mother On the Run Returns with Son
A Minnesota mother who fled with her cancer stricken son before a scheduled court hearing has returned voluntarily.
Wired PR News – A mother in Minnesota who fled recently with her teenage son before a court hearing has reportedly returned home voluntarily. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), authorities state that Colleen Hauser and her 13 year-old cancer stricken son were back in New Ulm, Minnesota Monday at 3:00 a.m.
An arrest warrant had been issued for Colleen Hauser after she failed to show up at a scheduled court appointment with her son. Daniel and his parents were in court previously for refusing chemotherapy treatments that had the potential to save his life, for reported religious purposes. The family expressed that they were in favor of natural treatments for his condition.
As noted by the AP, the warrant for Colleen Hauser has been lifted due to her voluntary return.
