The young daughter of the boxer has died following accident.
Wired PR News – The 4 year-old daughter of Mike Tyson has passed away after an accident in her family’s home in Phoenix. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Exodus Tyson died Tuesday around noon after being on life support. Exodus was injured after getting her head caught in a cord connected to an exercise machine on Monday.
The family of the young girl is quoted by the AP as releasing the statement, “There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus…We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.”

The former heavyweight champion’s 4 year-old daughter is reportedly on life support.
Wired PR News – The 4 year-old daughter of Mike Tyson is on life support. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the boxer’s daughter was found by her 7 year-old brother Monday on an exercise machine with an attached cable wrapped around her neck.
Sgt. Andy Hill is quoted in the report as stating of the occurrence, which he referred to as a “tragic accident,” “Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console — it’s kind of a loop… Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.”
As noted by the AP, Tyson, who had been in Las Vegas prior, immediately flew to Phoenix upon being notified about the accident. The child reportedly remains in critical condition.
