Actor David Hyde Pierce opens up publicly about marriage to partner

The actor opens up about his marriage on “The View.”

Wired PR News – The former star of the hit television program “Frasier” has opened up about his relationship with his long time partner and his views on Proposition 8. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), actor David Hyde Pierce recently stated on the ABC talk show “The View” that he and partner Brian Hargrove were married in California last October, prior to a majority vote in favor of a gay marriage ban in the state.

Pierce is quoted by the AP as stating of the recent California Supreme Court ruling, which upheld the decision of voters to approve Proposition 8, but allowed same sex couples who had already obtained marriage licenses to legally keep them, “It’s like, `Oh great, we made the cut,” but expressed being angry upon hearing the ruling.
