Pizza Man Comes to Aid of Kidnapped Woman
A man making a pizza delivery helps in the rescue of a kidnapped rape victim.
Wired PR News – A pizza deliveryman was caught off guard when he made a delivery to a remote location in the Tennessee mountains, and found a woman bound and pleading for help. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), deliveryman Chris Turner used quick thinking to aid a woman whose hands had been tied and asked him to call 911, after she had been rapped and kidnapped by a patron of her business. The woman was reportedly jogging when she was taken more than 200 miles away from her home and assaulted.
Turner is quoted in the report as stating of the woman, “While I was standing in the door all you could see was the back of the couch… And then she popped over the back of the couch and showed me that her hands were bound. And she was just mouthing, ‘Please call 911.”
As noted by the AP, Turner contacted the police, and the woman’s attacker was arrested, and she rescued.
