The Return of Jobs May Boost Apple Shares
Many are speculating on what affect the appearance or absence of Steve Jobs at an upcoming conference may have on Apple shares.
Wired PR News – Apple Inc. is holding their annual developer conference Monday, and many are speculating on whether the company’s ailing CEO will make an early return and appear at the conference. As reported by Reuters, Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs may be present at the Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco, which many believe could boost the company’s shares. His absence may likewise produce a negative effect.
As noted by Reuters, Jobs is viewed by many investors as essential to the success of Apple, which he helped bring back from near obscurity with the launch of products such as the iPod and iPhone. Jobs announced months before that he would be taking some time off for health related purposes until the latter part of June.
