Clinic of Murdered Abortion Doctor to Close
The clinic operated by murdered abortion provider, Dr. George Tiller, will close permanently.
Wired PR News – The clinic of murdered abortion provider, Dr. George Tiller, is set to permanently close. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Women’s Health Care Services Inc. had been temporarily shut down following the killing, but now will not be reopened according to an announcement by Tiller’s family Tuesday.
The family is quoted in the AP report as releasing the statement, “We are proud of the service and courage shown by our husband and father and know that women’s health care needs have been met because of his dedication and service.”
Tiller, who provided late term abortions and was a constant target of anti-abortion demonstrators, was shot and killed on May 31. Anti-abortion activist Scott Roeder, is currently being held on murder charges as well as for aggravated assault of those who reportedly attempted to stop him in the shooting.
